Grievance Cell

The grievance cell at Meghalaya House was instituted based on the recommendation of the M.P. Bezbaruah Committee. The main objective of the cell is to provide assistance to all the Meghalaya residents residing in Delhi who are in distress. The cell is represented by a Nodal Officer and other members who receives the distress calls for necessary help and coordination. A dedicated mobile number was allotted for the purpose. In the past, the unit has providedsupport to many residents and dealt with several cases such as transportation of mortal remains of resident who passed away in Delhi, harassment cases, facilitating travel of stranded residents during the Covid-19 nationwide lockdown etc.
